Dr. Jacob Simonsen
Jacob
was born in Denmark and has toured the world as a performer, producer, manager and entrepreneur. He heads up the Groove Group's seven companies in fields as diverse as entertainment, intellectual property and technical systems – the first of which was formed in 1987.
Jacob is world renowned as one of the foremost Music Producers and Technologists and holds numerous awards for his contribution to the music industry as well as a string of chart successes.
Having recently received an Honourary Doctorate in Ortho-Biology and Biosophy, Jacob continues to search for challenges and expand the Groove Group of companies.
 Leighton Smith
Leighton is one of New Zealand’s foremost DJ’s – known in the music industry as DJ
L8N. He specialises in Trance and Hard Trance
music - although he HAS been spotted recently around town playing HOUSE!!!
Leighton has worked with countless international DJ’s, has toured internationally and throughout New Zealand and played to audiences of over 10,000 people.
As
Groove Merchant's Installation Manager, Leighton is applying all his technical knowledge and perfectionism to Groove's club, restaurant and venue installations.
